PUBLIC LANDS FOR THE PEOPLE ANNOUNCES MISSION STATEMENT

Public Lands for the People is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization whose mission is:

"TO REPRESENT AND ASSIST OUTDOOR USER GROUPS AND INDIVIDUALS INTERESTED IN KEEPING PUBLIC AND PRIVATE LANDS OPEN TO PROSPECTING, MINING,AND OUTDOOR RECREATION THROUGH PUBLIC EDUCATION, SCIENTIFIC DATA, AND LEGAL MEANS."

State and Federal Lawmakers and Agencies have been legislating Regulations and Restriction on Peoples' Rights to utilize the Public Lands that have been set aside for public enjoyment. Much of these Regulations and Restriction exceed the authority of the implementing bodies.

This is an infringement on YOUR Constitutional Rights, as well as YOUR Civil Rights. The major source of all these unjust Regulations is the products of politicians catering to "special interest groups" who contribute heavily to political campaign funds.

These politicians and government agencies are no longer representing YOU, the public, but are now representing the "special interest groups" and extreme environmentalists. Most people are smart enough to see through the "Global Warming" scare tactic and know it is a natural occurrence. However, these "special interest groups" continue to ignore scientific proof showing that their arguments do not stand up.

This has been true with Suction Dredge Mining Regulations and bans mostly in California, but will soon be implemented in other gold rich areas. The politicians and special interest groups refuse to acknowledge the scientific proof offered that would dispel their "fear mongering" tactics. It is time to STOP the selfish, self-serving special interest groups and help us fight to retain our RIGHTS!

WELL, CALIFORNIA IS DOING IT AGAIN!  That's right folks, California is trying to take more of our Constitutional Rights away.  See Below:


'Open carry' ban wins approval in California Senate

Within the past two months, California's Legislature and Gov. Brown have passed laws and are getting ready to pass more laws which conflict with the Constitution Rights guaranteed all U.S. Citizens. Two months ago, Gov. Brown passed Legislation which makes it illegal for miners to efficiently extract gold even on Federal Mining Claims which have been granted by the Federal Government.  This legislation violates the 1872 Mining Laws which still are the Law of the land for mining.

Now, they want to place a BAN on OPEN CARRY.  This again will be a direct violation of our Constitutional Right to Bear Arms. I will quote the Constitutional clauses that they violate, but first let me also site the Supremacy Clause contained in the Constitution:

Article VI - Debts, Supremacy, Oaths

Clause 2: "This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding."

I can't help but wonder, "Did California Secede from the Union while I slept?"  What give this State, or any other State the right to take our Constitutional Rights away from us?

Has California become a Dictatorship?  Is the Federal Government going to continue to allow this?  Perhaps it too is becoming a Dictatorship.  Perhaps "WE THE PEOPLE" don't have any Rights or Freedoms, and they just forgot to tell us!

Folks,  it is quickly becoming a very SAD state of affairs! (No pun intended.)

I'm sorry, but this can not be allowed to continue.  When are people going to stand up and say, "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH?"  It would seem that our REPUBLIC has gone to the dogs, or should I say "THE ASSES!" (Just another term for the Democratic Symbol - JACKASS.)
